Location: San Diego, CA 92111
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm, weekends and nights as needed for plumbing emergencies
Pay: $80,000 - $120,000, DOE

Position Overview
The Field Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily field operations and supervising a team of plumbers. This individual is a highly skilled, seasoned plumber with deep technical expertise across residential and commercial plumbing systems. The Field Supervisor ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while delivering top-notch customer service. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, organization, and the ability to perform under pressure, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support 5 direct-report plumbers, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.
- Coordinate and manage field operations, ensure quality project execution, and lead a team of technicians and installers to achieve company goals and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
- Employee Schedule Management: Develop, coordinate, and monitor work schedules to optimize resource utilization.
- Project Oversight: Supervise field projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Inventory and Material Management: Monitor the availability and condition of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Client Relations: Facilitate communication with clients, provide updates on project progress, and address client inquiries.
- Safety and Enforcement: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety briefings for the team.

- Lead and assist with complex plumbing jobs involving plumbing systems, sewer, drainage, and epoxy lining.
- Support training and mentoring of team members to improve skill development and performance.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumber level experience (license preferred or required per local regulations).
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in plumbing or construction.
- Extensive hands-on experience with plumbing, sewer, drainage, and epoxy systems.
- Prior experience supervising or leading field teams.
- Strong understanding of different types of plumbing jobs, from routine service calls to complex repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
